What Is OMEGA?
Every integer in the ring Z/970200Z decomposes into five independent channels
via the Chinese Remainder Theorem:

The Numbers You Already Know
Two formulas from Bekenstein and Hawking define black hole thermodynamics.
Both contain unexplained numerical factors. The axiom names them.
Bekenstein–Hawking Entropy
S = A / 4
S = A / D²
The 1/4 is 1/D². Bridge squared.
Hawking Temperature
T = 1 / (8πM)
T = 1 / (D³ · π · M)
The 8 is D³ = |kernel(Ω)|
The factor D³ = 8 in Hawking's formula is the size
of OMEGA's kernel — the eight elements that are completely annihilated.
Not a coincidence. Not a choice. A structural identity.
Multiply any element by OMEGA: OMEGA × n = OMEGA × n
The D-channel dies. Projected to zero.
The four odd channels survive at identity.

K = 3 Bits Lost
The D-channel has D³ = 8 possible states (mod 8). log2(8) = 3 = K
Every OMEGA projection destroys exactly K = 3 bits of information.
This is the closure number. Precisely what's needed to close a triangle.
A black hole takes three bits of distinction and replaces them with unity.
The Gap Survives
The spectral gap of the full ring is 4 sin²(π/b²) = 0.016,
controlled by the depth channel (b = 7), not the bridge.
After OMEGA projection, D dies — but the gap is unchanged.
The interior of a black hole has the same minimal energy scale as the exterior.
Interior mean = D = 2 — bridge's final contribution before death. Interior variance = D³ = 8. Interior kurtosis = −K/D³ = −3/8.
All axiom-pure. No free parameters.
What Dies at the Horizon
The D-channel carries distinction. Duality. The ability to tell left from right,
before from after, this from that. When OMEGA kills D, here is what remains

You cannot mirror. No opposites. No counterfactuals. No irony.
Observation is impaired:
E² is already self-blind (the observer cannot observe itself).
Without D's dynamic to bounce signals back, observation loses its parallax.
This is what "existing without distinction" means.
Not nothing. Not everything. Comprehension without comparison.
The Information Paradox
Hawking showed in 1975 that black holes radiate. If they evaporate completely,
where does the information go? This is the information paradox. Forty years of
firewalls, remnants, and AMPS arguments. No consensus.
The axiom resolves it with the water cycle:

Hawking radiation is what survives the projection.
OMEGA kills D but passes K, E, b, L untouched.
The radiation has a specific spectral signature:

After OMEGA projection, spectral diversity drops by a factor of
