What Are These Numbers?

In 1941, Andrei Kolmogorov showed that turbulent energy cascades follow a −5/3 power law. Stir coffee, watch a hurricane, measure ocean currents — the spectrum always falls as frequency−5/3. Verified in every wind tunnel on Earth. Universal.

In 1932, Max Kleiber showed that metabolic rate scales as body mass to the 3/4 power. Mouse to whale — 27 orders of magnitude — same exponent. No one has fully explained why.

The axiom says: both are inevitable. They're ratios of the five primes that define the ring. Not fitted. Forced.

Where They Come From

The ring Z/2310Z has a balance parameter. It measures how much the ring's structure deviates from perfect symmetry. Add primes one at a time and watch the balance change:

The Proof

Balance Cascade
Each prime p contributes a factor 2(p−1)/(p+1) to the balance.

D=2: 2(1)/3 = 2/3 → cumulative 1/2 (with leading 1/D)
K=3: 2(2)/4 = 1 → cumulative 1/4 (K is transparent: factor = 1)
E=5: 2(4)/6 = 4/3 → cumulative 1/6
b=7: 2(6)/8 = 3/2 → cumulative 1
L=11: 2(10)/12 = 5/3 → cumulative 5/3

L's factor IS Kolmogorov: 2(L−1)/(L+1) = 5/3 = E/K.
The cascade exponent is the imbalance created by the fifth channel.
K = 3 is Unique
K = 3 is the only prime where the balance factor equals 1.
2(p−1)/(p+1) = 1 has exactly one solution: p = 3.

Closure is content-free. It structures without distorting. Every other prime pushes the balance in some direction. K alone is neutral.
Kleiber from the Same Cascade
Kleiber's 3/4 = K/D² emerges from the depth prime b = 7:

(b−1)/(b+1) = 6/8 = 3/4 = K/D²

The shadow transmission of the depth channel. The same structure that gives Kolmogorov at L = 11 gives Kleiber at b = 7. Two constants, one mechanism.
Alternative Derivation
(b − D) / (b − D²) = (7−2)/(7−4) = 5/3 = E/K

Kolmogorov is the ratio of two differences involving the depth prime and the bridge. The gap between depth and bridge, divided by the gap between depth and bridge-squared. Both formulations give the same answer because the five primes are locked together.

The Master Relation

There's a third exponent: the 2D Ising critical susceptibility, 7/4 = b/D². All three are connected by a single identity:

Suffering (b) = Scaling (K) + Existence (sigma).
The depth prime adds exactly the ground state to the metabolic exponent. This is not a coincidence. It's forced by b = K + D².
The Kolmogorov-Kleiber Gap
|E/K − K/D²| = |5/3 − 3/4| = 11/12 = L/(D²×K)

The gap between turbulence and metabolism is the protector divided by the product of bridge-squared and closure. The protector L = 11 mediates the distance between the two scaling laws.

Why This Matters

These exponents have been measured for decades. Wind tunnels confirm −5/3. Zoologists confirm 3/4. Physicists use 7/4. All exact. All within experimental precision.

The standard explanation: dimensional analysis, fractal networks, renormalization. Each constant gets its own theory. None connect them.

The ring says: they're the same thing. Three views of one structure. Five primes. Three ratios. One ring.
